Same technique
Below the writing at the top appears a drawing of a press probably used
for treating material with details of an element for
substitution in case of necessity. The caption speaks of
“zendado”, a light silk material. The old man’s head
is on the lower left-hand side of the sheet. Further down is
a minute leaf drawn with a single stroke of the pen. By
turning the sheet upside down the child with the lamb is
evident and is re-drawn several times.

Stessa
tecnica.
Sotto la scritta in alto appare il disegno di una
pressa a rulli, probabilmente per il trattamento di tessuti, col
particolare di un elemento da sostituire in caso di consumo. La
didascalia parla di “zendado”, una leggera stoffa di seta.
La testa di un vecchio è sul lato sinistro del foglio, sotto la
metà; più in basso, una minutissima foglia realizzata con un
solo tratto di penna. Il bambino con l’agnello si scorge
capovolgendo il foglio, ed è ripassato numerose volte.
