Catalogues
and an “erotic profile” (Vasari compared it to a warrior
in a sheet found in the British Museum), it also seems to be
a study in anatomy. It is evident that Leonardo dedicated
himself mainly to the study of the facial muscles and the
neck torsion rather than to the rest of the hair. It is
dated around 1495.

Catalogato
anche come “profilo eroico” (e Vasari lo confrontava con
quello di un guerriero in un foglio conservato al British Museum),
sembra anche uno studio anatomico. Č evidente come Leonardo si
sia dedicato maggiormente allo studio dei muscoli facciali e
alla torsione del collo che non alla resa dei capelli. Viene
datato intorno al 1495.
