Drawn by the same hand as the previous one in n.42. Selvatico also thought this to be by Leonardo but the general consensus is that it is an imitation of the original or by Leonardo himself or one of his school. As with the previous drawing, Berenson tentatively proposes Melzi.

Della stessa mano del disegno precedente, scheda 42. Anche questo era ritenuto di Leonardo dal Selvatico, ma la propensione generale è quella di ritenerlo un’imitazione di originali leonardeschi, o della sua scuola. Come per il precedente, Berenson propone dubitativamente il nome del Melzi.
