Profile of a curly-haired man with a short beard

Study for the apostle Matthew in the Last Supper. It was, most probably,
taken from the Hellenistic bust of Lucio Vero and was copied without modification onto the fresco of the Last Supper.

Studio per l’apostolo Matteo nell’Ultima Cena. Molto probabilmente è ripreso dal busto ellenistico di Lucio Vero, ed è riportato quasi senza modifiche nell’affresco del Cenacolo.
