THE VISION OF THE CHAIRS
In this case the vision is one of St. Francis’ companions who sees several chairs appear in the sky, one of which seems more dignified and splendid than the others. The monks then hears a voice that announces the throne is intended for St. Francis. As in the previous fresco, the ground with the monk that has the vision and St. Francis praying in the chapel are represented according to a focal point that is different in respect to the vision.

LA VISIONE DEI SEGGI
In questo caso viene raffigurata la visione di un compagno di S. Francesco, il quale vede in cielo apparire diversi seggi tra i quali uno risalta maggiormente per dignità e splendore. Il frate sente poi una voce che gli annuncia che quel trono è riservato a San Francesco.
Anche qui, come nel precedente affresco, lo spazio terreno col frate che ha la visione e San Francesco che prega nella cappella viene rappresentato secondo un punto focale differente rispetto alla visione.
