THE VISION OF THE FIRE-CART
The scene is divided into two parts. Below is St. Francis praying in a hovel while above appears a vision, probably of his monks, who are far from him at that moment and the Saint on a cart, splendid and full of flames. It is said that the division of the focal points between the two parts emphasises the opposition of the true world and the ultra-worldly character of the vision.

LA VISIONE DEL CARRO DI FUOCO
La scena si divide in due parti. Sotto č raffigurato S. Francesco che prega in un tugurio mentre in alto appare una visione, probabilmente dei suoi frati che in quel momento sono lontani da lui, del Santo su un carro infuocato e splendente.
Si dice che il divario dei punti focali tra le due parti metta in risalto la contrapposizione tra il mondo reale e il carattere ultraterreno della visione.
