Formella di pluteo Nonostante i viluppi
dei corpi e le violente torsioni che rimandano a cose proto-romaniche,
la scena tende a comporsi in maniera simmetrica e pacata, le asperità
si smussano nel chiaroscuro; come risulta poi dalle altre formelle che
compongono i plutei ducenteschi, alcune delle quali sono di un maestro
d'educazione classica.

Despite the confusion of bodies and the violent
twisting that reminds one of the proto-Romanesque things, the scene tends to
compose itself in a symmetrical and quiet manner, the asperity is diminished
in the shade as a result of the other panels that form the ducal pluteus, some
of which are by an artist of classical education.
