USI
- S. SARKIS /
X-XIII century
This is a fortified convent that encloses a nucleus of buildings one of
which is a chapel, a completely destroyed church and a ruined gavit’.
The chapel is a simple asp covered by barrel vaults and enclosed in the
shape of a parallelepiped covered by a greatly sloping roof.
Nothing remains of the church that stood between the chapel and the gavit’,
as it collapsed completely.
The gavit’, south of the other buildings, was a vast
square-shaped space at the centre of the south façade with a large
mullioned window and double arch resting on two semi-columns with a free
column in the centre.
