T'ALISH / Vllth century
T'alish is the ancient Aruch. The grandiose structure consists of a domed hall like the one at Ptłni, but here the dome is supported on pendentives rather than squinches. The destruction of the dome and of the drum accentuates the rather heavy proportions of the building. Near the church are found the ruins of an older sacred building and other annexes which preserve some remarkable architectural elements despite their ruined state.
