BIWRAKAN CHURCH OF THE MOTHER OF GOD / Vllth (Xlllth) century
Some two kilometers east of the village of Biwrakan stood this unusual chapel dedicated to the Mother of God (Astuatsatsin) and now in ruins. The graceful lines of the façade belltower stand out against the arid surrounding rocks.
