TEŁERVANK' / Xlllth century
This large structure stands on the southeastern slope of Mt. Aragats near the abandoned village of Diğir. It is composed of a church and a gavit. The church belongs to the usual type of longitudinal domed hall having four corner chapels with apses. The large gavit is characterized by two chapels with bell towers at the front. These campaniles set on the roof like façade towers are reminiscent of the triumphal arch at Ani-Horomots'. Thanks to the height of their drums and roofs they reach nearly to the height of the church. This complex was restored recently and has regained its originai form.
