Haymaking

Once again the glorious vision of a northern city appears in the distance dominating the work of the peasants as they make the hay. Some men are cutting the grass and to their left are women who scatter it so that it can dry in the sun.

La fienagione.

Ancora una volta appare in lontananza la gloriosa visione di una città nordica che incombe sul lavoro dei contadini, impegnati nella fienagione. Alcuni uomini falciano l’erba e, alla loro sinistra, le donne spargono l’erba affinché si asciughi al sole.
